Karen Community Fundraiser for Internally Displaced People in Burma

Sunday, October 25, 2026 · 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Karen Community Farm at Triangle Land Conservancy's Williamson Preserve 4429 Old Country Mial Road, Raleigh, NC

Join the Karen Community Farm for a day of homemade Karen food, community and hope. Proceeds support students, teachers and families in eastern Burma and on the Thai border who have been displaced by years of civil war.

Why we're gathering

Last December, KCF farmer and board member Htoo Saw returned to his homeland for a month. He visited six schools in eastern Burma. Five now hold classes in the jungle because of airstrikes. He also visited camps for displaced families in Burma and Thailand. The needs he saw were urgent: food, medical supplies and school supplies.
